Once again, Blackpool is hosting the only international adult beach volleyball championship in the UK. With international press plus live and recorded TV coverage across 180 countries, this is a great opportunity to be part of the fastest growing Olympic sport.

Sponsorship opportunities include Event Title and Presenting Partner, provision of funding or essential services, grandstand branding and sponsoring the VIP suite or player party. Depending on level of investment, your company can display banners around the centre court and grandstand within TV shot, and around the competition courts.

Banner space is available on the event perimeter fencing in full view from the promenade and we can also provide space for on-site promotions to the public. Or you can provide promo items for the audience in our 2,000 seat stadium. In addition, sponsors can advertise in the event programme and have logos displayed in other literature.

Support your local youngsters encouraging health and fitness - you may be helping future Olympians!

The week before the English Masters, Blackpool's international beach volleyball complex is handed over to hundreds of under 16s for Coaching sessions, Master Classes and Junior Tournaments.

In 2008, some 600 Blackpool youngsters took part in Volley-on-the-Prom and this year we expect even more. The ‘novelty’ of playing on sand appeals to youngsters, while the fun element of beach volleyball attracts those who might otherwise shy away from athletics or the discipline of a gymnasium.

Fri 5th and Mon 7th: Junior schools coaching and tournament

The European Championship Tour English Masters 2009 is part of a planned strategy by Blackpool Council and the North West Development Agency to reposition the resort as a premier beach sport destination and is backed by a multi-million pound regeneration programme.
